Join us Sept 28 for Walk for Warmth

“Walk for Warmth and Wellness” will be held this Sunday, September 28, at the Wamego Recreation Complex, at 2:00 pm.

This annual event helps raise funds for the Wamego Council of Churches Community Assistance Program that assists needy families in our local area with food, utility bills, and other services during the winter months. 100% of the funds raised will remain here locally.

Packets for walk participants are available in the church office.

Baked items are also accepted for donation at the walk site, for a bake sale which is held during the event. Suggested items are cookies and brownies (without frosting) and packed in 6 or 12 items per package. Donated baked goods should be taken directly to the recreation complex prior to 2:00 on Sunday.
