Souper Bowl of Caring
Our church youth have invited the congregation to participate in the annual Souper Bowl of Caring food drive. Each year, youth groups across the nation lead their local congregations and communities in collecting dollars and non-perishable food items to donate to their local charities. Food collected at FPC will donated to Community Health Ministry’s Food Bank in Wamego.
Last year, our youth collected enough food items to fill 3 grocery carts. They have set their goal this year to increase collections and have challenged the congregation to help them fill 4 grocery carts before February 5.
Items may be brought to the church anytime until February 5. Check out the Souper Bowl of Caring display near the east entrance. Information & reminder cards are available at the display. Monetary donations will be accepted in the soup pots.
